THE JOURNEY
SARAPIQUÍ
We start with two days on the Río Sarapiquí, getting comfortable with the warm water, tropical surroundings, and Costa Rican whitewater.
RÍO TORO
A spectacular 16 km section combining technical rapids, waterfalls, boulder gardens, and dense rainforest.
POZO AZUL
Technical Class IV/V whitewater and several beautiful waterfalls.
PACUARE
The highlight of the trip. After a relaxed transfer day, we launch onto the Upper Pacuare and paddle through incredible Class IV/V boulder gardens deep in the jungle.
We spend the night at a beautiful riverside lodge only accessible by river, before continuing downstream through the iconic Lower Pacuare the following day.
